This is a pretty definitive smackdown of “vehicular cycling.”
It’s not just Florida, though. There are roads like this all over the country, including Airline Drive/Tulane Avenue in the New Orleans area. Why do we allow for this? Why are our roads designed so poorly? It’s criminal.
We could have paid people to build planes and then paid more people to drop them into the ocean, and it would have had the exact same stimulative effect on the economy. There’s nothing about “War!” that is uniquely stimulating.
I want LADOTD to do this. They can start on Airline “Drive.”
